Logan Wheat's Baseball Recruiting Profile
Mia Morrison Personal Statement
It is safe to say that I love the game of baseball and aim to play at the highest level possible, for as long as possible. In that endeavor, I'm excited at the prospect of combining my college studies with my passion for baseball at a competitive University program. What I bring with me is a solid physical foundation with tremendous upside projection and an advanced baseball skillset, honed through years of highly competitive instruction and on-field experience. Many others have this as well. What sets me apart is not just being "coachable", but rather a true student of the game. I don't only make adjustments after a coach points out opportunities. I actively seek occasions to ask questions about situations, tendencies, preparations, and adjustments as early and often as possible. Having the physical ability to make rare and athletic plays is important, and I have that. Having players who understand unusual baseball situations and anticipate how to turn difficult plays into successful ones is where teams transition from "good" to "outstanding". This is what I'm expecting to contribute to a team and what I'm looking for in my new teammates. I'll never be done growing in this game and look forward to the next-level coaching you'll bestow.
