In a recent photo posted on Instagram, there were many comments from fans offering their support to the couple, yet perhaps the most interesting came from Marcus' mother.

"Son, you look so handsome and Larsa, you look so gorgeous, y'all look fire together," Marcus Jordan's mother, Juanita Vanoy, commented on Instagram.

Juanita Vanoy was married to Michael Jordan between 1989 and 2006.

Despite being publicly unwilling to support the relationship, Michael Jordan may well have softened on his stance with regards to Marcus and Larsa.

Marcus Jordan revealed the content of some text messages his father sent him recently, which appear to show that the former Bulls legend is willing to let his son make his own choices... and his own mistakes.

"The main thing from my dad was 'you're a grown man, you can make your own decisions'," Marcus Jordan revealed in an interview with the New York Post.

"Ultimately, as long as I'm happy, he's happy.

"He's never intervened in my dating life prior to Larsa, and he's not going to start now."
