Personal Statement

In order to make the Varsity golf team as an 8th grader,  I had to shoot better at tryouts than the top five upper classman. During the 2017 season, I  consistently shot  low to mid 40's (on 9 holes), and  I was the number 2 golfer on the team.  In the 2017 season, I won the coaches award for golf.  I was mentioned in local newspaper articles in the 2017 season, which highlighted my scores and achievements.  

In the 2019 golf season,  as a  sophomore, I was named team Captain of the  High School Varsity Golf team.  I lead our team to the ECIC Championship where  I qualified for the Western New York Section VI golf sectionals.  The sectionals were to be held in May 2020,  however, due to the pandemic, Sectionals were cancelled.  At the conclusion of the season, I was named the team MVP by our coach.

During the 2020 golf season, I was again named team captain and team MVP.  I led our team the the ECIC championship where I placed second.
