Knight appeared in over 1,000 episodes of the show from 1983 to 2011. He also had a recurring role as Tad Martin on the soap opera One Life to Live from 2003 to 2005.

In addition to his television work, Knight has appeared in several films including Baby It’s You, Date with an Angel, Hexed, Enchanted, Ash Tuesday, Undermind, Noise, Retreat, Rounding First, Mango Tango, and Hungry Years.
