How Frazier fits at Michigan

Michigan is putting together a deep class of offensive linemen, and Frazier stands out as a versatile lineman with a high ceiling. Frazier played right tackle as a junior at Vandegrift High School and looks capable of playing guard or tackle at the college level. He’s a long, lean lineman at 6 feet 5 and 260 pounds who’s going to add power as he develops.

Michigan was one of Frazier’s earliest offers, and the Wolverines stayed at the top of the list despite a flurry of interest from schools like USC, Oregon, Texas A&M and Miami.

Where does Michigan stand with the Class of 2024?

With Frazier in the fold, Michigan is up to 12 commitments in a 2024 class that is ranked No. 3 in the 247Sports Composite. Four of those players are offensive linemen: tackle Andrew Sprague (No. 158), Frazier (No. 207), interior lineman Luke Hamilton (No. 348) and guard/tackle prospect Ben Roebuck (No. 454).

Depending on how position battles shake out, Michigan could start five seniors on its offensive line in 2023. That creates the potential for major turnover and makes the 2024 recruiting cycle an important one for the offensive line. The Wolverines are stocking up accordingly, and they might not be done yet.
