Milton Harvey, age 66 passed away peacefully Monday, May 25, 2020 in Chesapeake, Virginia. Milton Harvey, retired from the City of Chesapeake with 33 years of service. He was a humble man; he never liked to be the center of attention. In life and now in death, he wouldn’t want us to focus on him. He wouldn’t want us to focus on the sadness of his death, but instead focus on the happiness in our lives. A
man as humble and loving as him will always be remembered by those of us who knew him and loved him. Although we will miss him, his smile, his laugh, his selflessness, his love, we take consolation in the good feelings of our memories. Anyone who ever spent even a little time with him, could never forget how incredible he truly was.

Life
Milton Harvey, known as Pluke, born March 4, 1954 in Chesapeake, Virginia to Virgie Harvey, raised by Herbert Artist. He was truly unstoppable and remarkable without knowing how to read or write he lived such a productive life. He didn’t let anything stop him, earning endless promotions from work and countless awards. If you did not take heed in any lesson he shared you had to be a fool. He enjoyed mechanical work, his dogs, western channel, and a good salad. Mr. Harvey never met a stranger, he’d strike up a conversation with someone in line at the grocery store or walking down the street. To know him was a precious gift. Milton Harvey, a real man took care of all his kids, and anyone in need, he was there. In his spare time he would visit his south hill buddies where helaughed and joked at. Forever he will be missed, and never forgotten.

He has two siblings William and Virgie Harvey. Mother of his children, Saundra Biggs. He is survived by his children, Reginald Norfleet, Milton Norfleet, Vivian Norfleet- McFarland, Shenita Norfleet.
