New renderings emerge for $250M 'Orchid Grove' project
David Craig New rendering have emerged for a $250 million mixed-use project that officials hope could help revitalize the Gwinnett Place area.
The development dubbed Orchid Grove is planned for the site of the aging and largely abandoned shopping center currently known as Gwinnett Prado. The 32-acre property between Pleasant Hill and Old Norcross roads is just down the street from equally struggling Gwinnett Place Mall (which, last we heard, another developer wants to turn into a cricket stadium).

Partnership Gwinnett recently posted on its website a handful of new renderings of for the project — which the Gwinnett Place Community Improvement District suggested could see a groundbreaking sometime later this year.
