Mia Lopez The idea that anyone on Planet Earth is unaware of former Winter House star Tom Sandoval’s cheating scandal, Scandoval, is baffling. Winter House season 3 star Katie Flood says she’s unaware of Scandoval and doesn’t know who Tom Schwartz is either. Not. Convinced.
With Tom Schwartz‘s arrival into Winter House looming, his season 3 castmates are anticipating whether he’ll turn up with his best friend, Tom Sandoval. As the trailer shows them discussing Scandoval, Katie Flood pipes up with an unconvincing confession. She doesn’t even know who Schwartz is, apparently.
Katie Flood joins Winter House
Katie Flood joins Winter House from Below Deck Mediterranean. The trailer shows that Vanderpump Rules star Tom Schwartz and Winter House co-star Katie appear to be flirting their way through season 3.
Bravo stars Tom and Katie are seen enjoying one another’s company as they take a drive on Winter House. Katie explains that she’s “single,” in the car and Tom replies: “Oh, do you come here often?”
The trailer then cuts to a different scene where Katie is seen revealing to Danielle and Malia White that she “finds herself attracted to Tom”. So much for having no idea who he was before his arrival!
She ‘doesn’t know Tom Schwartz’
Despite Scandoval being one of the biggest 2023 scandals of Bravo, Katie is oblivious. “Am I living under a Goddamn rock here?” Flood, 31, asks cameras. “I have no idea who the f— Tom Schwartz is.”
Winter House season 3 began filming in Steamboat Springs, Colorado one week after news broke that Tom Sandoval, and his girlfriend of nine years, Ariana Madix, broke up after his affair with Raquel Leviss.
So, to be fair, it wasn’t as widely spread as perhaps it was in the public at the time. Either way, Katie has just joined the Winter House cast, and surely must have watched Sandoval and Schwartz on it in season 2.

Katie has no idea about Scandoval
Katie claims to have zero knowledge of Scandoval, despite being part of the Bravo family. Even Adele knew about it! Yet she seems to think we will believe her when she says she hasn’t seen the drama?!
So to answer your ridiculous question, Katie, yes, you have been living under a rock. Or perhaps just sailing the seas with zero idea of what’s really going on in the outside world…
Katie’s Winter House co-star, Danielle Olivera, knows Schwartz through his ex-wife, Katie Maloney. Danielle tells cameras: “She’s not feeling great about him in this moment.”
She adds: “So Tom, if you’re bringing the baggage with Sandoval into this house — my safe haven from all the s— I’m dealing with — no. Just get out.”
