Police in Cobb County are searching for information regarding the armed robbery of a hair and beauty supply store in Marietta around 3 p.m. Saturday.

The incident happened at Noble Hair and Beauty Supply in the 1600 block of Powder Springs Road.

That's where, according to employees who spoke with investigators, an armed man wearing a hoodie over his head entered the business and took an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the scene.

The suspect is described as a black male with a light complexion who is about 5 feet 8 inches tall and has a thin build.

He is believed to have been in his late teens or early 20s. He was last seen wearing a gray "hoodie" with white drawstrings, black jeans and black and white shoes.

There were no injuries during the robbery, police said.
