Post Malone's ex-girlfriend, Ashlen Diaz, attempted to take financial support from the rapper after press caught him cheating on her on a yacht.

The news comes from Martorell Law, whom the scorned woman had hired to negotiate a deal with Malone before later dismissing them.

She would then sign a $350,000 agreement with him that calmed the situation down before Martorell Law announced legal action against them by accusing Malone of making Diaz drop the lawyers to work out a private deal.

The 28-year-old, known for his 2017 hit 'Rockstar', is said to have "improperly interfered in the situation" by the law firm, who have demanded a cut of the $350k he shelled out.

He denied the claims and described them as "frivolous, unreasonable and without foundation" as he asserted he doesn't control Diaz, calling for the case to be dismissed.

"In order to avoid paying a higher settlement sum, and in order to continue manipulating his victim, Defendant Diaz, using his money, power, and control over her to prevent her story from being shared with the world and to avoid near-certain litigation," a motion filed against Post Malone read, whcih was obtained by RadarOnline.com.

"Defendant Diaz, unfortunately, gave in to such duress (as victims often do), to her own detriment, separating her from legal representation she desperately needed."

Malone has not yet responded to the allegations, nor has a judge ruled on the motion, as the legal firm continues to chase a payout from the New York artist.

Post Malone collaborates with Apex Legends

Post Malone will link up with the hit video game 'Apex Legends' as they announce an event due to be launched on November 7.

Malone is an avid gamer and has professed that his love is 'Apex Legends', although he does also enjoy 'Call of Duty' too.

The event will be titled Apex Legends x Post Malone, with it being anticipated that there could be new skins for characters such as Horizon, Octane, Lifeline and Wraith.
