Raquel Welch’s cause of death was reavealed after she passed away on 15th February at her Los Angeles home. She was 82 at the time of her death.

She is known for being the curvaceous movie actress who became the first significant American s*x symbol in the 1960s and kept up that image for 50 years in the entertainment industry.

Raquel Welch’s son, Damon Welch, announced her passing. “Her career spanned over 50 years starring in over 30 films and 50 television series and appearances. The Golden Globe winner, in more recent years, was involved in a very successful line of wigs.”

Her family claims that she passed away after a brief illness. As of now, they have not provided any other information.

Welch’s representative Steve Sauer said in a statement to People news that “the iconic bombshell actress of film, television, and stage died away quietly early this morning after a brief illness.”

Raquel leaves behind her two children, her son Damon Welch and her daughter, Tahnee Welch.

Tahnee and Damon Welch, Welch’s two now-adult children, are her only heirs. Damon is 63 and has also worked as an actor, while Tahnee is 61 and a model and actress.
