Reject the Mother Quest Area Blocked by Red Wall Bug Diablo 4
Sophia Edwards A Red Wall blocking the bridge to the Diablo 4 Reject the Mother side quest area is an issue many players are currently experiencing. This Dry Steppes side quest looks simple. However, players can not progress due to this bug. Why is this quest area blocked off, and can this be fixed? Here’s what we know.
Diablo 4 Reject the Mother Quest Bridge Blocked by Red Wall Bug
Reject the Mother is a side quest in Diablo 4, which players can trigger by collecting Torn Note in the Tusmaa Rift zone of the Dry Steppes region. Once you grab the note, a message will pop up. It reads as follows: “Shout your rejection, ‘no Mother of mine’ at her towering statue in Rift’s hidden shrine.”

You will need to reject Lilith at her secret shrine. The quest marker will guide you to the specific location, which is in close proximity to where you discovered the note. It is situated just outside the entrance of the Dark Ravine Dungeon. Check out our map below to know where you need to go.
Just outside of the entrance to the Dark Ravine, you’ll see a summoning circle. What you need to do here is to equip the “No” emote to your Emote Wheel. You can do this by pressing E and then going to “Customize”. Finally, use the “No” emote in this area (in front of Lilith’s shrine), and you will reject Lilith in this way and complete the side quest. The Heretic’s Cache will appear near the shrine, with the rewards awaiting you there.
Unfortunately, if you leave this area before completing (but after accepting) the side quest, it will bug out and you will not be able to approach the quest area. There will be a big Red Wall blocking the bridge just before the “Reject the Mother” quest area. Judging by the reports of other players, for now, there doesn’t seem to be a solution for this. Nonetheless, we will make sure to update the guide if we find one. If you know of a workaround, share it with us in the comments section!
