Richard Doffing Missing: Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Help
Mia Morrison The Douglas County Sheriff’s office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating an elderly man who went missing on Wednesday.
73-year-old Richard Doffing, who has been diagnosed with advanced dementia, was last seen driving away from his home in Glendale, Oregon in a white 1992 Ford F350 with Oregon license plate SXD561.
The pickup truck has the “Tri-R” logo on both back doors, as described by the DCSO.
Given his condition, Doffing is considered an endangered missing person, and authorities are concerned for his safety. It is believed that he may be attempting to travel to Texas, though his whereabouts are currently unknown.
The DCSO has described Doffing as being 5’10 tall, weighing 160 lbs, with hazel eyes and gray hair. He was last seen wearing a dark shirt and blue jeans.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone who may have seen Doffing or his vehicle to please contact them immediately.
They are urging the public to be vigilant and to keep an eye out for the missing man and his vehicle. The safety and well-being of Richard Doffing are of the utmost importance and the DCSO is working diligently to locate him.
Doffing’s family and loved ones are also understandably worried about his safety and well-being and are asking for the public’s help in finding him.
