He was born in New York, New York, and graduated from Poly Prep in the early 2000s before attending Amherst College. Brown began acting in high school and landed his first lead role opposite Sean Connery in “Finding Forrester”. He took a break from acting to focus on school and returned to the industry in 2005. Brown also appeared in “The Dark Knight Rises” and “Don Jon”. He played Delmond Lambreaux on the hit HBO series “Treme”, which is set to air its fourth and final season in 2021.
