Personal Statement

Hi. My name is Ryan Lippert and I attend Walsh Jesuit High School. I have been playing volleyball since the fall of 2022. I was put onto a club team and learned to love the sport. When high school season came around, I was the only freshman to make AND play every game on varsity. Throughout the high school season, I learned new techniques and understood the game more. During the club season following high school, I grew immensely in my hitting and passing skills. I transferred what I learned in club that year to high school. I ended the year with 240 kills. Ending the year with a hitting percentage of +0.147. What sets me apart from other athletes is that I am willing to learn. I take what I am given and try my best to apply it to my game. I am a very coachable athlete. I also support and care about my fellow teammates. I support them when they make a mistake, and I encourage them to keep working. Overall, I believe that I would be a great candidate for a college team due to the fact that I am coachable, willing to learn, and I give 110% in all that I do.
