Sabrina Renee Burrus-Brown

Our beloved Sister, Aunt and Friend Sabrina Renee” Dena”  Burrus Brown passed away peacefully in Richmond, VA on October 26, 2021.  Sabrina was born on May 14, 1968, in Norfolk, VA to the late Harvey, Sr. and Sarah Burrus.   Dena, as she was affectionately called by family and friends, was the youngest of 9 children.   She was predeceased by her brothers Andrus Burrus, Lewis Earl Burrus, Harvey “Bud” Burrus, Jr., sisters Rosie May Williams and Mary Etta Thornton.

She was educated in the Norfolk Public School system. While growing up in Norfolk, she was a baptized member of Abyssinia Baptist Church of Norfolk, VA.

Dena enjoyed traveling as a truck driver and always up for a new adventure. She was very computer savvy and enjoyed shopping online as well as reading.
