The 2023 MTV Video Music Awards were held earlier this week and one of the most talked about moments involved Taylor Swift, as she danced the night away at the Prudential Center.

From the moment she appeared until she left, Swift was fully invested in every performance and every award winner, with some users turning her dance moves into memes.

But the most talked about moment was when Shakira took the stage. The American couldn't stop moving and the Colombian's performance was even commented on by the Argentine producer Bizarrap himself, who posted on his Twitter account with an emoji showing a pair of sunglasses.

Shakira herself was also enamored by Swift's involvement during her performance.

Swift did not stop and the videos of her dancing have continued to make waves on social media, so much so that Shakira herself also shared and commented on them through Instagram Stories.

"Seeing Taylor enjoy it so much is a real pleasure! absolute fan!!!!! ", wrote the singer who also took the award for Best Collaboration for TQG with Karol G.

During the show Shakira became the first singer of Latin American origin to get the 'Video Vanguard Award', which has previously been given to artists like David Bowie.

"To my children, Milan and Sasha, who are here cheering me on, and make mom feel like she can do it all. And to my fans, thank you for being my army, helping me in every battle," she said.

Shakira then put on a 10-minute show full of music, dance and a lot of rhythm that got everyone in attendance moving.
