David Craig Tammy Slaton has honored Caleb Willingham in a tribute on TikTok. She claims they watched the sunset in the afternoons together while in rehab together. The two tied the knot before he died.
To the shock of 1000-lb Sisters fans, Tammy Slaton got married while she was in rehabilitation. She met Caleb Willingham during her journey to lose enough weight for bariatric surgery. The TLC star was married for a little over six months when her husband died at age 40.
Tammy Slaton honors Caleb Willingham
Tammy Slaton has honored Caleb Willingham again on November 21, a year after they got married. Back in July, following his death, Tammy revealed that Caleb “showed her real love and happiness”.
Marking a year on from their wedding anniversary, Tammy has now said that they watched the sunset together every day they were together. She also shared a photo of a butterfly released at his memorial.
She said: “The sunset was our thing, we would sit outside all afternoon until the sun set.” The TikTok tribute comes just days after Caleb featured in a 1000-lb Sisters first look video released by TLC.
Caleb couldn’t go home with Tammy
A first look preview of 1000-lb Sisters season 5 shows that Caleb was not approved to go home when Tammy did. With tears in their eyes, Tammy said she “couldn’t imagine leaving without him”.
Another clip showed Tammy saying she felt “bothered that he’s backsliding” while they spoke on FaceTime. She added: “I don’t know if he has the strength to do this on his own.”
In her tribute, Tammy Slaton wrote: “Whisper I love you to a butterfly, it will fly to heaven to deliver your message.” She chose the song Love Is Gone by SLANDER ft. Dylan Matthew as the background music.

1000-lb Sisters star ‘isn’t in love’
Tammy has revealed that she “isn’t in love with him” but will “always love him and misses him every day”. She keeps a photo of her and Caleb’s wedding day next to his urn, in front of her television.
One fan wrote: “You don’t have to be in love with someone to love them and miss them! your strong and you will get through this!” Another said: “He’s the reason you kept pushing, he was your angel.”
Describing her wedding day on her TLC show, Tammy said that it was “magical.” However, months after their wedding, rumors circulated that Tammy and Caleb were splitting up.
