Meet Mawaan Rizwan
Mawaan, 28, is a writer and comedian who began his career on Youtube when he was 16 years old.
Since then, he has become the writer for Netflix’s Sex Education series, stars in Two Weeks To Live as an actor and has performed at Live At The Apollo.
Born in Pakistan before moving to London when he was 2 years old, he went on to host How Gay is Pakistan?.
The documentary explores the issues faced by other LGBTQ Muslims living under Islamic law that deems homosexuality illegal.
Does Mawaan Rizwan have a partner?
Mawaan has openly spoken about his partner at comedy gigs, however he hasn’t revealed his name. He came out as gay to his parents at the age of 24.
However, we do know that his partner enjoys watching French films!
