The inVisible Load of Motherhood: Join Huddle Up Moms on June 10th
Mia Morrison Huddle Up Moms’ Annual Women’s Resource Summit is back for its fourth year in 2023
The load of motherhood is often invisible. Planning birthdays, buying groceries, juggling schedules, making appointments... For moms, our brains and bodies rarely stop. What is the Invisible Load of Motherhood? It's been described as the unnoticed and uncompensated physical, mental, and emotional labor completed behind the scenes to keep our households happy, healthy, and running smoothly. This year, Huddle Up Moms is holding a mirror up to make these invisible struggles visible and build up a community around mothers.
Huddle Up Moms’ Annual Women’s Resource Summit is back for its fourth year in 2023. The Summit, happening on Saturday June 10th, is returning to the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and Fralin Biomedical Research Institute in downtown Roanoke. Doors open at 9am with sessions beginning at 10am through 3pm. The Summit is free but registration is requested by visiting
This year’s theme, The inVisible Load of Motherhood encourages mothers to hold up the joys and challenges of motherhood - many of which go unseen. Moms will also have the opportunity to meet other mothers in the community and create new friendships around shared experiences. There is no cost to attend, however registration is requested by visiting . Sponsorships are still available.
