Resulting in Jared’s 54-year prison sentence and Harold’s 70-year jail term. As per available information, Jared was granted parole in November 2016, 

He prefers to keep a low profile, staying in Illinois under parole supervision.

Harold Haines III serves his sentence under work release custody at the North Lawndale Adult Transition Center in Chicago, Illinois.

In 2023, both murderers are serving prison sentences, reflecting the severity of their actions and their impact on the victim’s life and community.
