Part two of the six part film series pits Balboa versus Creed II. After Balboa retires, Creed wants a rematch so he mocks Balboa, forcing the rematch. A now married Balboa, and soon-to-be father, does not train properly and boxing does not seem to be on his mind until the collapse of his love, Adrian, who nearly dies. From that point on, with the encouragement of Adrian, a new found Rocky Balboa is born, and he defeats the champ to win the title.
