The film highlights the story of a suburban town called Seabrook, where humans and zombies try to exist together after the government created a device that stops zombies from craving brains.

The students from Zombietown transfer to Seabrook High School to showcase the friendship between humans and zombies. However, the students have difficulty getting along.

The friendship between zombie football player Zed and human cheerleader Addison lead their respective group to co-exist with each other for a better community.

The film has two sequels Zombies 2 and Zombies 3.
