Having a jacked body in WWE is a good thing for a wrestler. Vince McMahon certainly prefers powerhouses in his company and though he doesn’t push on this as far as he used to do in the early 80s, 90s or even 2000s, the CEO of WWE still searches for wrestlers with a muscular physique.

In the history of WWE, McMahon has been seen as biased towards those who look stronger than others. But because hundreds of superstars have worked for WWE, it’s hard to distinguish between who is sturdy than others.

This is why we have considered certain factors that give us a rough idea of how much of a power one possesses. Here is a list of 10 strongest WWE superstars in the history of the company.

#10. Hulk Hogan

Yes, Hulk Hogan was one of the strongest WWE wrestlers in kayfabe but in reality, as well, Hogan has got a lot more strength than others. He shocked the world when he slammed Andre the Giant at WrestleMania 3, more than 32 years ago.

Back then, Hogan and Andre the Giant was one of the biggest wrestling figures present in all of WWE.

Even though The Hulkster is now 66 years old, he’s still got a better physique than most of the roster. And despite being this old, Hogan still wants to compete in another match and end his wrestling career in WWE.

#9. The Undertaker 

Even the undertaker isn’t as muscular as several other WWE superstars in this list, the former world heavyweight champion has done things that made him eligible to be in this list.

In 2006, on an episode of SmackDown, The Undertaker lifted Mark Henry for the tombstone and successfully performed the maneuver. That’s 340 pounds of dead weight, and the fact that he hit the ring with his knees (to protect Henry’s neck from breaking) proves that The Undertaker is one of the strongest men in WWE history. He is past his prime but the superstar still provides a stream of nostalgia whenever he appears in the ring.

#8. Kane

You might be surprised seeing Kane’s name in this list but here’s the thing: Kane possesses helluva strength in real-life.

WWE never showed his physique in the company; instead, he was being used as a scary character. From debuting as Isaac Yankem to becoming Fake Diesel, Kane has played many characters but never of a powerhouse. However, if it’s true that he beat Lesnar in arm-wrestling, he deserves to be on this list. Hear in Lesnar’s word about how strong of a person The Big Red Machine was.

“At one of the events, the guys in the back were all testing their strength through arm-wrestling and ‘mercy’. Most of them were there to ‘impress the divas’. I remember running through all of them, even Paul [Big Show], who had bananas for fingers. The only guy I remember being stronger than me and it pissed me off because I hated not being first, was Kane. No one in the WWE was as strong as that guy. Trying to slam his arm down was like trying to push over a tree with one arm.”

#7. John Cena

John Cena isn’t as ripped as many of the other mentioned names in this list, but don’t let this deceive you from the fact that he lifted both The Big Show and Edge at once during WrestleMania 25. That’s over 778 lbs of combined weight! And for someone who’s billed weight is 251 lbs, it’s a huge feat. Three years ago, Chris Van Vliet interviewed The Big Show and when asked about the strongest to ever work in the ring with, Show said this:

“John Cena. Hands down. But Brock is probably the most explosive athlete I’ve ever been in the ring with. Brock moves so quick it’s scary sometimes. But as far as people picking me up, nobody’s like John Cena.

When Cena picks you up, it’s like you’re standing on concrete. I’ve never seen a guy so composed and so strong and when you’re up there on his shoulders, you’re not going anywhere.”

Show has worked with the likes of Lesnar, Kane, Henry and more and if he’s complimenting Cena among others, then there’s a reason for it.

#6. The Big Show

If there was one wrestler to tackle Andre The Giant in WWE, it would be The Big Show. Just looking at this body would give you an idea of how strong he really is. The 7-foot 485 pounder is past his prime but he can still knock someone out in a matter of seconds, no matter how big he is.

The World’s Largest Athlete, for him, isn’t just a nickname, it’s his personality. The Big Show is a future WWE Hall of Famer and the fans will remember his amazing feats of strength in WWE.

#6. Brock Lesnar

A former UFC heavyweight champion, Brock Lesnar was one of those superstars that Vince McMahon always wanted to be in his roster. The Beast Incarnate never had to worry about his future in WWE as McMahon had already taken care of it. Even before Lesnar’s main roster debut, he was one of the most liked wrestlers by Vincent K. McMahon.

From lifting superstars like Big Show to Mark Henry, Lesnar’s muscular body is proof that he possesses the power his character is built around.

#4. Andre The Giant

How could we miss the man who drank 106 beers in one sitting and used piano covers like a blanket?

With 520lbs of weight, Andre The Giant was someone who could easily do wonders with using his powers. He was one of the strongest men of his time, and this is the reason why he was undefeated for years in the wrestling scene.

He lifted 2000lbs of dead weight and WWE has even posted a clip of it in their YouTube channel. Unfortunately, he still doesn’t top this list.

#3. Billy Graham

Young fans of WWE today probably won’t understand the influence Billy Graham had in the wrestling business in the early eighties. He was one of the early WWE superstars to have a muscular physique in the wrestling industry, which is considered to be normal today.

Graham had a huge influence on Vince McMahon and superstars like Hulk Hogan who is the childhood hero for many WWE fans. Hogan reproduced what Graham used to do during his wrestling days and made his things his own. Billy Graham was also one of those wrestlers others tried to model themselves with.

#2. Mark Henry

Mark Henry is known as The World’s Strongest Man in WWE. He’s a former Olympic weightlifter, has broken several records in weightlifting and also in powerlifting.

One of Henry’s feats of strength was pulling two tractor traitors at the same time and at the same time, he also broke a world record. The former WWE Champion is also the inaugural Arnold Strongman Classic winner. But this isn’t just it. Apart from doing showing his strength in the WWE ring, Henry has won several golds in weightlifting.

If this isn’t enough to put him at the top of this list, nothing would ever be.

#1. Bill Kazmaier

Bill Kazmaier worked for several independent wrestling promotions stepping food in WCW. He even came close to winning the WCW World Heavyweight Championship but never did so.

Kazmaier won three consecutive World Strongest Man titles (1981-83) and then, the organization banned him from participating as they thought nobody could beat him.

Other than this, he also claimed himself to be “the strongest man who ever lived”. And we think he deserves to top this list. His other accomplishments: Setting numerous powerlifting records that seem unnatural to some people.

We have surely missed names such as The Great Khali, Goldberg, Haku, Paul Orndorff, Triple H, Tony Atlas and younger names such as Braun Strowman.
