Top 2024 Uncommitted College Football Recruits After Early Signing Day | News, Scores, Highlights, Stats, and Rumors
Mia Horton Amaree Williams is the No. 8 athlete in the 2024 class. The North Palm Beach, Florida, product was initially supposed to be in the class of 2025 before he reclassified to this year earlier this week.
Although 247Sports hasn't listed a prediction on where the newest member to the 2024 class may end up, the 4-star recruit recently took an official visit to Florida State.
"I love their family aspect," Williams said, via Rivals, of his experience in Tallahassee. "A lot of people may say that, but it's true here at Florida State. I feel like that was a big thing for me. I was able to see that through my whole weekend, seeing coaches' kids, wives and whole families at all the events. That was big."
Williams has some pretty impressive football bloodlines. His father, running back Moe Williams, was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the third round of the 1996 NFL draft. He played 10 seasons in the league, nine of them for the Vikings, with whom he accounted for 3,337 total yards of offense with 21 touchdowns.
