The devastating news of Tracy Brown Bering’s death in December 2022 left family and friends heartbroken. Despite suffering from depression, she inspired many who fought for their rights against all odds. 

Her battle ended abruptly when she committed suicide by taking some of her prescribed medication excessively. According to her mother’s statement to Understanding Crime, this horrible tragedy was avoided at all costs. 

In tribute to her legacy, a movie was released about her life – “Bad Behind Bars: Jodi Arias.” This true crime series highlighted every little secret of Arias and gained immense public interest after it was released on January 21, 2023. 

With profound sorrow, we remember Tracy Brown Bering and salute her extraordinary courage.

What happened to her? 

Tracy’s mother, Yolanda Ducharme revealed during her interview on December 31, 2022, with Understanding crime via Facebook  that the previous two years had “taken so much away from us all” and expressed her hope that the year 2023 would offer “new love, new pleasure, new smiles and new moments.”

Further added, “Depression robbed us of you. I make an effort to get by each day, and I make an effort to comprehend, but I doubt I ever will. I adore you, darling girl, and may your soul rest in peace. You will always have a special place in my heart”.

Everyone who knew Tracy was heartbroken by the news, and hundreds of comments offering condolences and prayers swiftly followed her post. 

Before delivering this devastating news, Yolanda posted an ode of sorts to her beloved daughter, stating that she will forever remain a part of her heart. 

While there is a deep sadness surrounding the loss of Tracy, it is nevertheless admirable how much love and appreciation her mother holds for her dearly departed daughter.

Tracy’s partner Donavan Bering battled cancer recently

Donavan Bering married Tracy Brown in 2018; their marriage was undoubtedly brief yet complicated. After some time husband Donavan was diagnosed with cancer while Tracy struggled mentally. 

Amid this trying time, Donavan often spoke of his gratitude for his wife’s care; despite her own issues, she still found the strength to look after him in such a difficult period. 

The couple married in 2018, shortly after it aired on their Bad Behind Bars: Jodi Arias show, but the union didn’t last for more than four years before Tracy passed away.
