Twitter Reacts to Adrian Wojnarowski Reportedly Leaving Yahoo for ESPN | News, Scores, Highlights, Stats, and Rumors
Mia Horton Grant Goldberg @GrantGoldbergWow.
When it comes to breaking news, there is arguably nobody in the business better than Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports. He's so good, in fact, that the term "Wojbomb" has become a common phrase in the basketball world.
On Wednesday afternoon, Draper reported that Wojnarowski is close to a deal to join ESPN. It was also reported that Woj would not be the only basketball writer to make that move. A change that big was sure to get the internet buzzing.
An SB Nation editor was quick to point out that the latest Wojbomb was actually a "Deadspinbomb":
Whitney Medworth @its_whitneywhen you didn't even get to tweet your own wojbomb
That was hardly the only humorous tweet:
Jake from State Farm @jakewhitacreImagine how much ESPN is gonna have to pay Woj just to make sure he doesn't announce all the draft picks ahead of time.
Beyonce has an uncle named Larry Beyince. Bruh.... @DragonflyJonezWe're gonna have to join inSIDER now for Woj bombs huh?
Yankee Hotel Foxtrot Nixon @CTowersCBSAs always, I won't believe any report until Woj confirms it.
Of course, the internet never forgets:
Offseason Jae Crowder @el_budgetWith Woj reportedly headed to ESPN, I guess this would be a good time to revisit this
