The club is mourning her loss. For the club, she was an indispensable cog, always putting in extra hours. A dedicated member and treasurer of the ladies’ committee, she also takes an active role in club events, leaving a lasting impression on the Cyprus Community. She and her husband, the late Tom Argyrou, were two integral parts of the club’s vivacious energy. The Cyprus Club and her cherished family are devastated by her death. Peter, Elley, and Allan, her three children, and a plethora of grandchildren and great-grandchildren who loved her dearly make up her family.
Violetta will be remembered through a series of ceremonies where the community will pay tribute to her life. The viewing is set to take place at the Euro Funeral Services Chapel, 890 Canterbury Rd, Roselands, on Thursday, December 7th, 2023, at 7:00 pm. Thereafter, on Friday, December 8, 2023, at 10:00 am, a service will be held at St. Euphemia Greek Orthodox Church in Bankstown.
