Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs was caught on camera during the 27-10 playoff loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, irately yelling at teammates on the sidelines.

After the game, reports stated that he immediately went to the locker room, grabbed his belongings, and left before coaches were even able to arrive for their post-game speech. He was eventually stopped from leaving the stadium by veteran running back and member of the Bills practice squad Duke Johnson.

Diggs only remained momentarily, before leaving again after head coach Sean McDermott addressed the team and reporters.

Diggs took to Twitter to address the criticism being levied against him for his actions following the game.

The 29-year-old caught only four passes for 35 yards on Sunday, despite being quarterback Josh Allen’s favorite target over the course of the past several years.

During the regular season, Diggs recorded 1,429 yards on 108 receptions and a career-high 11 touchdowns. His 6.8 average receptions per game and 89.3 yards per game were far below his regular season performance, likely contributing to his frustrations.

McDermott attempted to downplay the incident during his post-game press conference by saying, “He’s a competitive guy. What makes him good is what you saw.”

The Cincinnati Bengals limited one of the NFL’s top offenses to a season-low 10 points in Orchard Park on Sunday, and their secondary celebrated their effort by making snow angels in the end zone after Cam Taylor-Britt intercepted Allen’s attempt at the goal line with 62 seconds remaining, effectively sealing the victory.

Diggs’ clear frustration with Allen and the Bills offense may not be his final word in Buffalo. He signed a four-year $96 million deal with the Bills back in April, tying him to the club until 2027 when he will be 34.
