‘Beyond heartbroken‘ is the expression Johnny Brown’s daughter and actor Sharon Catherine conveyed about her suffering on her father’s demise.

Sharon, a Broadway actress herself, posted on Instagram and announced the death of the actor. She further requested the fans that “We respectfully ask for privacy at this time because we need a minute to process the unthinkable.”

As per the post on Instagram Brown passed away on Wednesday.

Johnny Brown is an American actor and singer. Johnny Brown was born in St. Petersburg, Florida, in June 1937. He has performed on stage in addition to film and television. Brown was active from 1961 to 2013. He regularly appeared on Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In from 1970 to 1972.

Brown had a diverse career ranging from recording songs and being a part of a music band to making an appearance on Broadway and being in a regular television series including “Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In,” where he played as a part of the three seasons ensemble.

Brown became part of Good Times in 1975 when the former ‘Laugh-In’ writer turned producer introduced him in the middle of its second season.

Brown made his debut in a film in 1996 where he portrayed a blind pianist in a dramatical movie “A Man Called Adam.” He also starred in Man in the Mirror” with Martin Sheen in 2008.

She continued: “To articulate the depths of profound sadness. This is my mom’s husband for sixty-one years, mine and JJ’s dad, Elijah and Levi’s Pop Pop, older brother to George and brother in law to Pat, and extended family to Chris, Hihat, Damian, and Derell.”

She concluded: “It’s too terrible. It will never not be. It’s a s

hock. He was literally snatched out of our lives. It’s not real for us yet. So there will be more to say but not now. Dad was the absolute best. We love him so very much.“
