Jacob Maton comes from an athletic family.

His family consists of his parents and three brothers. Jacob was born as the son of Phil Maton Jr and Ellen Maton.

He also has three brothers in his family, three elder brothers named Phil III, Nick, and Marc Maton.

Out of the four siblings, Jacob, Nick, and Phil have pursued their careers in baseball. Phil is a pitcher for the Houston Astros, whereas Nick Maton plays as a second baseman and shortstop for the MLB team Philadelphia Phillies. 

On the other hand, Marc is a track and field athlete who graduated from Glenwood High School in 2013.

Nick's family originally comes from Illinois, where many of his family members still live. His grandfather Phil Maton Sr passed away in 2011, but his grandmother Mary Ann Maton is still alive and well.
