WWE fans are wondering if Batista is eyeing a return to the ring given he's been spotted training relentlessly in recent weeks.

The 54-year-old is no stranger to those who regularly watch the sports entertainment company, bursting onto the scene in May 2002.

From there he joined forces with the likes of Triple H and Ric Flair, and along with Randy Orton, the foursome became known as Evolution.

After splitting from the group, Batista went on a successful singles run that included four reigns as World Heavyweight Champion and two WWE Championship reigns.

After leaving the company in 2010, he returned for two brief stints in 2014 and 2019, but recent signs suggest he could be ready to make another return.

A recent Instagram video posted by MMA coach Matt Arroyo shows Batista training hard.

In it, Arroyo, who is renowned in MMA Circles and owns the martial arts school Gracie Tampa South, tries to show viewers how to block the Batista Bomb.

Unfortunately for him he is caught by Batista and finds himself victim to the maneuver.

Should Batista return, he would be the latest former WWE star to return to the company due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike.

John Cena and The Rock were both on SmackDown last week, and fans are eager to see if the 54-year-old will soon join them.

Batista's last match dates back to WrestleMania 35 in 2019 when he took on long-time mentor Triple H. After the match, Batista announced that he was done competing in the ring.
